Erectile Dysfunction

What is Erectile Dysfunction?

Erectile dysfunction occurs when a man loses the ability to acheive or maintain an erection sufficient enough for sexual intercourse. TEMPORARY ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION happening from time to time isn’t necessarily a cause for major concern. But long-term erectile dysfunction lasting over three months can be considered CHRONIC ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION and therefore requires medical help. Even though it may seem awkward to talk with your doctor about erectile dysfunction, go in for an evaluation. Treating an underlying problem may be enough to reverse your erectile dysfunction.

What is Premature Ejaculation?

Premature ejaculation (PE) is a medical condition in which a man ejaculates within two minutes of penetration. Premature ejaculation is the most frequently self-reported male sexual dysfunction, occurring in about 20% to 30% in men of all ages. Premature Ejaculation can be divided into two types; PRIMARY, which is present from the time a male begins puberty, and SECONDARY which is acquired later in the man’s life. PE can be further divided between; Global Premature Ejaculation, which occurs with all partners and in all contexts and Situation Premature Ejaculation which occurs in certain situations or with specific partners. Most men experience premature ejaculation at least once in their lives. Because there is great variability in both how long it takes men to ejaculate and how long both partners want sex to last, if at all, an accurate prevalence rate is hard to determine, estimates range from as low as 5% to as high as 30%.
